Tustin Unified School District
The Tustin Unified School District (TUSD) has 18 elementary schools, a K-8 school, 5 middle schools, 4 high schools and alternative and adult education programs within TUSD boundaries which include the City of Tustin, City of Irvine and County unincorporated areas. Tustin Legacy residents living west of Jamboree Road reside within this school district’s boundaries. Please visit www.tustin.k12.ca.us/ or call the TUSD at (714) 730-7301 for more information about school sites that TUSD is responsible for constructing at Tustin Legacy and any time schedules. A general description follows of three potential sites:
- Heritage Elementary School (K-6), a 10-acre site, is currently under construction on Lansdowne Road in Tustin Legacy. The expected completion date of this school is unknown at this time. Please check with TUSD for any information.
- An additional unnamed 10-acre elementary school site has been identified at Tustin Legacy to be located east of the future Tustin Ranch Road and north of future Moffett Drive. The City tendered a conveyance agreement and grant deed for the site to TUSD in June of 2008 which has not yet been executed by TUSD. TUSD has not made the City aware of any planning for this project to date. Please check with TUSD for any information.
- A 40-acre high school site has been identified at Tustin Legacy to be located at the southwest corner of Tustin Ranch Road and Valencia Avenue. The City tendered a conveyance agreement and grant deed for the site to TUSD in June of 2008 which has not yet been executed by TUSD. TUSD has not made the City aware of any planning for this project to date. Please check with TUSD for any additional information.
